Our Story

The Spin 2 Win concept is new to Jacksonville and developed by Alfonso Thomas, who witnessed a similar event in Seattle, WA. With a passion for fitness and supporting his community, Alfonso knew Jacksonville would love the concept and that he wanted to support a local nonprofit beneficiary. With a family history of cancer, he reached out to The DONNA Foundation to partner for the event.

June 2018 was our first unprecedented high octane spinning event at Unity Plaza, featuring our official Bad Ass Medal! A successful, and fun event was had by all participants, while raising over $5,000 for The DONNA Foundation.

The next October 20, 2018 event will be held in beautiful Jarboe Park in Neptune Beach. Register now!

Spin 2 Win instructors provide an energetic atmosphere challenging participants to reach limits that appear impossible from within, leaving participants with a profound belief in their personal achievement. Therefore creating a cycling experience that’s second to none.

Katie enjoys staying in shape with all forms of exercise but spinning is her love. She likes to have fun while you sweat; no reason you can’t be smiling while your climbing! Obviously, coming from the medical field, she knows the health benefits that come from this fun type of aerobic exercise: from stress reduction to weight control, prevention of health problems, raising your HDL cholesterol, improving the waistline, lowering triglyceride and blood sugar levels, improving bone density... and the list goes on.....Join us for some of her fun spin classes over the next 3 days....June 22-24!  It’s as fun as going to a party and it is all for a great cause!

Anne has been a NASM certified personal trainer since 2012. She holds specialties in fitness nutrition, corrective exercise, women's fitness and weight loss. In 2011 she graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

When she is not at the gym or teaching cycle she enjoys cooking, a great glass of wine and being outside. She recently moved back to Florida from Las Vegas with her one-year-old daughter and plans to go back to school for paralegal.

To Anne, the most rewarding part of being a personal trainer is seeing a client accomplish a goal that they did not think was possible!

If hard work pays off, easy work is worthless!
